Gubga is a particularly dim fellow. He enjoys long walks in circles around the mud pond he dwells in, and loves the taste of week old fish more than any other food. Gubga has never thrown up, no matter what he's shoveled into his maw.
In the wild, swamp trolls have been reduced to a population of only a few thousand. Unlike conventional myths, swamp trolls do not eat humans unless they attempt to enter their mud pools. When out and about, swamp trolls are piscivores.

Blukba was rescued from an unlicensed breeder in early 2020. Her offspring appear to be rock/swamp hybrids, which means they will not be able to be released into the wild.
Blukba is a kind soul who was raised in captivity. She enjoys a good scratching with long brushes, and often attempts to have our keepers babysit her young while she goes off to find her favorite bug hollow. Our organization actively opposes all illegal captive troll breeding operations.

Glarga was rescued from a trap planted to poach trolls. Having damaged their right arm to the point of disuse, Glarga had to have it amputated. As a troll, with time a new arm will grow back.
Glarga is a temporary resident of the facility, living in an enclosure across from our other troll, Gubga. Despite being solitary, these two have often engaged in what we believe are conversations, and even a burping competition! This may be a rarely observed bout for dominance or even a sign of friendship
